We Love Entrepreneurs – Le film


Pour bien démarrer 2015, quoi de mieux, qu’un post exceptionnel, doté d’une folle énergie positive… Et bien c’est ce que je vous propose en revenant sur le formidable film documentaire produit et réalisé par les équipes de FrenchWeb pour We-Love-Entrepreneurs.

Si vous n’avez pas encore eu la chance de le voir, il est en libre accès depuis quelque semaines :

Il s’agit bien d’une ode à l’entrepreneuriat français, comme on aime, justement, à le faire, ici. Donc impossible que je ne m’attarde pas sur l’événement avec la volonté de lui offrir le plus beau des écrins.

Il le mérite tant et la cause est tellement belle !

The event, organised by Girls In Tech Paris, was that smashing, gathering that top class speakers in such a The Family mood – Neelie Kroes (European Commission), Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook), Joanna Shields (Digital Advisor to the UK Prime Minister), Mike Butcher (TechCrunch), Reshma Sohoni (Seedcamp), Brenda O’Connell (Twitter), Eliane Fiolet (Ubergizmo) and Pascal Latouche (Orange) – that I have been very happy to make one exception !

But the happiest ones would probably be you guys… discovering more about these 3 finalists out of 178 applicants from across Europe, 3 ladies, 3 entrepreneurs and 3 unique sensibilities…

Guillaume Cabrère, Director Axa Lab


Guillaume has started his career in digital in 1996. For 15 years, he has worked at leading digital agencies such as Nurun and Razorfish (now part of the Publicis Group) to advise high-profile brands on their digital strategies. His international client roster includes brands like McDonald’s, Nike, L’Oréal, Danone, Nissan, Sanofi and PlayStation.

In 2010, Guillaume moved abroad with his wife and two kids to work as a Client Partner at Razorfish San Francisco to work with Sony Electronics, Intel and Walt Disney Studios. Moving back to France in September 2011, Guillaume joined DDB (part of the Omnicom Group) to develop and manage Digital University, its digital evangelization and training unit.

Roxanne Varza, Start-up Lover, Microsoft

Roxanne Varza currently leads Microsoft’s start-up activities in France, running both Bizspark and Microsoft Ventures programs. In April 2013, Business Insider listed her as one of the top 30 women under 30 in tech. Prior to Microsoft, she worked for several European start-ups and was also the Editor of TechCrunch France.

She also co-founded the French and British chapters of Girls in Tech and is the co-organizer of the Failcon Paris conference. More recently, she co-founded, a European tech publication. Prior to TechCrunch, Roxanne worked for the French government’s foreign direct investment agency in San Francisco helping fast-growing start-ups develop their activities in France.
